Description: (cranking, driving, and brake failure in this clip. contains 2 static pedal views and 1 in-game view. contains simulated pedal pumping in a video game. run time 7 minutes and 46 seconds.) story: oh the land yacht, the car that doesn't lie to start or stop. this time around i don't have to crank it for too long to get it started. it's more the stopping that is the issue this time around. fun thing about leaving an old car in a field is apparently brake hoses are tasty snacks for the critters. the brakes are drained down to the point the brake pedal has zero effect. i coast down the hill and again get stuck in a drainage ditch. it doesn't take much work getting the car unstuck and i'm on my way down the road. i push the brake pedal over and over hoping each time will be different, but i am in a brakeless car. my left foot even joins the right on the brakes hoping it will slow me down. this was a terrible idea to go for a drive in this car.
